NEET 2018 Entrance Exam

NEET 2018 is basically National Eligibility cum Entrance Test which is organized by the CBSE (central board of secondary education). Those students who want to study any graduate medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or post graduate course (MD/MS) in the government and private college they will have to give the NEET 2018 entrance test for the admissions. The central board of secondary education will be conducted the MBBS and BDS courses. All the individual MBBS exams and AIPMT is replaced by the NEET-UG conducted by the states or colleges themselves.

National Eligibility cum entrance test – NEET 2018 is basically an entrance exam which was approved by the Supreme Court on 28th April 2016 for the students who wants to take an admission in the MBBS and BDS courses. Supreme Court agreed to approve the orders to hold the National eligibility cum entrance test for the MBBS & BDS courses. On 11th April 2016 the apex court recalling judgement quashing NEET exam. Mr. Anil R. Dave, S.K Singh and A.K Goel reserves plea for holding a NEET 2018. The hearing began with the Union and medical council of India they were discussing about that NEET 2018 is possible to conduct during this academic year.

Miss. Pinky Anand who was general additional solicitor has renamed the All India PMT with the NEET and it was conducted on the 1st May 2016 for the first time. Now after the examination the counselling and NEET 2018 seat allotment process should be conducted for the NEET counselling and seat allotment of the students.

NEET 2018 Syllabus

NEET syllabus for class XI

NEET Chemistry Syllabus (45 questions):- Redox reaction, Hydrogen, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, s-block elements, p-block elements, hydro carbon, environmental chemistry, Gases and liquids, classification of elements, structure of atoms, some basis concept of chemistry, chemical bonding and molecular bonding.

NEET Physics syllabus (45 questions):- Properties of bulk matter, behavior of perfect gas and kinetic theory, oscillation of waves, thermodynamics, laws of motion, work energy and power, motion of system of particles, physical word and measurement, kinematics, motion of system of particles and rigid body, gravitation, properties of bulk matter.

NEET Biology Syllabus (zoology 45 questions + botany 45 question = 90 questions):- human physiology, plant physiology, diversity in living word, structure organization in animals or plants.

NEET syllabus for class XII

NEET Physics syllabus – Current electricity, electrostatics, electromagnetic induction and alternating currents, magnetic effects of current and magnetism, electromagnetic waves, atoms and nuclei, dual nature of matter and radiation, electronic devices.

NEET Chemistry syllabus – electrochemistry , surface chemistry , solid state ,p-block elements , solutions , general principles and process of isolution of elements , coordination compounds ,alcohols , chemical kinetics , biomolecules , organic compounds containing nitrogen , phenols and ethers , chemistry in everyday life , holoalkanes and haloarenes , ketones and carboxylic acids , polymers , d  & F block elements.

NEET Biology syllabus – Genetics and evolution, reproduction, biology and human welfare, ecology and human welfare,  biotechnology and its applications.

NEET 2018 Exam pattern

The NEET 2018 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) consists of three sections which involve the objective type questions which are to solve in the mode of pencil –paper:

Section I  Physics
Sections II  Chemistry
Sections III  Biology
Total questions  180
The total allotted marks  720

NEET 2018 Exam timings – 10:00 a.m to 1:00 a.m

  • The question paper will contain 180 questions of objective type.
  • The questions will be given from physics, chemistry and biology.
  • The duration is three hours.
  • For every correct answer you will be given 4 marks and one mark will be deducted for any of the incorrect answer.
  • There is negative marking also so the candidates should be careful when writing answers.
  • The candidates can choose any language they want.
